Guys, our current legacy system exports ASCII files that we current translate using an EDI translator. I'd like to also use this data to create PDF files for email, print, and fax. The data files come from the legacy system in a format that includes a "TAG" at the start of each record (line) which tells what kind of data is in the record. The data is on the same line as the TAG in a fixed length format. For example, a file full of invoices might follow this schema: 
FILE_HEADER 
DOCUMENT_HEADER 
INVOICE_HEADER 
INVOICE_DETAIL 
INVOICE_DETAIL 
INVOICE_DETAIL 
INVOICE_TOTALS 
INVOICE_HEADER 
INVOICE_DETAIL 
INVOICE_DETAIL 
INVOICE_DETAIL 
INVOICE_TOTALS 
FILE_FOOTER 

Notice that this example has two invoices... From this one data file, I would need to produce two PDF files, one for each invoice. 

I'm not sure if I can do this with any of the Adobe product line? If not, I was thinking we could convert the data to XML using the same EDI translator that we current use for EDI documents. Then I could use some tool to go from the XML to PDF? 

Need some guidance.
