Hello,
I have a script that creates a document, and prints out the separations using a printer sytle that is set up to only print the black ink plate, plus any spot colors that come through. The print style works fine manually, but as soon as I try to run it through the script I get the Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow plates. Since everything is done on black + spot there are no need for these plates.
Why is Indesign ignoring this one aspect of the print style (everything else is fine).
I am using indesign 2.01. It worked fine in version 1.5.
Here is an example I put together that mimics what I do in the fill script, and still gives me the same problem:
Dim ObjInDes As InDesign.Application
Dim ObjDocument As InDesign.Document
Dim objdistiller As New ACRODISTXLib.PdfDistiller
Dim ErrCode As Integer
Set ObjInDes = CreateObject("indesign.application")
ObjInDes.UserInteractionLevel = idDontDisplayAlerts
Set ObjDocument = ObjInDes.Open("c:\work\TEST-ITEM.indd")
ObjDocument.PrintOut idPrintWithoutDialog, "Seperations"
ObjDocument.Close
Set ObjDocument = Nothing
Set ObjInDes = Nothing
Thanks for any reply
