guess i'll just keep talking to myself.

is there any reason why this doesn't work

if XML Element 1 of XML Element "Section" is XML Element 1 of XML Element "Section" then display dialog "yes"

am i going crazy? there is an element 1 of an element "Section" as far as i can tell.
