Have you set up your document with a script so that the text frame you want to set has a label of "ProductName"? Note this has nothing to do with the contents of the frame that you see on the page - this is just a scripting-only property that is on the text frame object. If you have set up labels (and that's the only way you'd be able to refer to a text frame by name), then when you ask for text frame "ProductName" you'll get the first instance of a text frame whose label matches "ProductName" - so your script ends up setting the text of that particular frame once per record in your database (and once for record -1, and once for record 0, if you don't get an error) I'm guessing that you're getting an error because you haven't set up labels for your text frames. So the script can't find a text frame named "ProductName" in your document. What is the task you're trying to perform? Are you getting the text from each record and putting it all into one text frame in your document, or are you trying to put the text from each record into separate text frames? Alan
