Addendum: 

Most of my work, especially the book stuff I was discussing in this thread, is set to a strict template, so creating a book using the script only needs to be done once and this is used as a template. Replacing the files with a completely new set takes seconds with a script that updates all files. Importing new files into existing frames is a very much faster operation.
