Again, yes, this is something we'd like to do. But we won't do it until we're sure we can do it right, and on both platforms. 

The main problem with recorded scripts is that they're often something more like macros--this mouse action, that menu choice, etc. This is not the way a real script works. I would hope that our implementation, if and when it appears, would do better. 

All of that said, no one should be holding their breath and/or putting off script development waiting for this feature.<g>
