I'm posting this message in the InDesign and the InDesign scripting forum because I dont know where it belongs.

I'm a book publisher who primarily publishes pictorial history books. We usually go to a historical society and scan in 350-400 photos. The finished books usually end up having 300 photos in them. What I need is a script or a plug-in that can place photos on a page and puts its filename underneath it. IT will serve as a catalog of the photos we dont use. This way the client can tell us if we missed one that is very important. Back in my Quark days I used QXP Photobook. This was a perfect fir for what we need. Is there any InDesing equivalent?

Thanks for any help.
