We're badly in need of a script that will allow us to copy selected text from one InDesign frame and strip out the formatting, so that when we paste the text into another text frame the formatting of the surrounding text is inherited. I've worked on a script that copies selected text out of ID 2, pastes it into AI 10, and then copies the text from AI 10, which causes the text to lose it's formatting. However, I'm having a few technical problems with the script. Before I pursue this further . . . am I wasting my time? Is there a better approach? Has someone already developed this, or is someone (Ole?) about to? Any input would be appreciated.
