Dean--

Shane's script is an AppleScript; for Windows, you'll need a version in VBScript (or Visual Basic for Applications--aka VBA--or Visual Basic). InDesign does not use its own proprietary scripting language, but relies on the scripting standard of the platform. You will not need a separate editor to create a VBScript--NotePad or WordPad (or any other text editor) will do.

I'll post a VBScript version of Shane's script as soon as I can. Once I do, you can copy the script out of the forum, paste it into a text editor, and save it with the file extension .VBS. At that point, you'll be able to run it.

Thanks,

Ole
