Shane's off net at the moment doing his thing in Monterey. I'm not sure when he'll be back. 

Using tables is the way to go for calendars. I wrote a script to do that a few months ago. I keep telling myself I'll get it into publishable shape one of these days but pressure of work has it languishing. 

One tip: when thinking about scripts that create new documents, make a template and open that: much easier than trying to script all the details.
