MM font problems

Help, Minion MM fonts  are not recognized at the PS/2 rip on a Scitex Dolev 400 for film output. Message is font not available even tho its okay in Quark. work around has beeen to save page as EPS, take it to Illustrator, select all and make outlines and place page in new quark doc. Have to do this for 1 customer that uses this font in almost everything they do that carries their tag line. Anybody having the same problem? any other suggestions or answers as to why this multiple master font has become such a problem at the rip?
