I was recently recreating a logo for a client, who only had a hard copy of their logo. Available options: Recreate the logo in Illustrator using a template scan. Scan a high quality bitmap of the hard copy and use that. Recreate the logo by distorting similar fonts (outlines) to fit the template scan (I chose to recreate it in Illustrator using a template scan.) What do the professional people do? Also, is it common for people to use .25 pt increments for type. At what type size do you stop using .25 or .5 pt sizes? 10, 11, 12, 14? Thanks Wayne Andrews
