Hi Marilyn

For another view on OpenType, see Luc Devroye's "rant" at http://cgm.cs.mcgill.ca/~luc/opentyperant.html <http://cgm.cs.mcgill.ca/~luc/opentyperant.html> . (I assume most people here will already be aware of Luc Devroye's website, but if anyone hasn't seen it, you should. It contains a wealth of information on fonts.)

As for myself, I would prefer multiple masters over OpnType fonts any day. Sure, it's handy having all the glyphs in one font, but I don't have a problem using expert sets and small caps sets (I have macros for tagging numerals and the like), so I'm not anticipating a huge advantage to my workflow or typography from OT fonts any time soon.

Cheers, Dominic
