I use Netscape 7.1, Internet Explorer 6, and Opera in both PC and Mac. If I want SPEED, I use Opera, If I want to be able to monitor all of my mailboxes simultaneously, I use Opera. If I want to see the pretty pictures and attachments, I use Netscape. If a site is written so that it doesn't display properly in Netscape or Opera, Internet Explorer is always safe. You can browse and purchase on Ebay in Opera, but when it comes time to use PayPal - it has to be Netscape or IE6. Getting rid of the banner is fairly inexpensive. I use Opera 6, not the current version, 7. So yes, somebody still uses Opera. It beats watching the IE6 progress bar crawling its way along, even with DSL.
