--------------C97C121AD96BFDB690F13841 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I had a bunch of problems with Fdisk and redhat. It would reconize my linux partition as an "extended dos partition" an absolutely refused to do anything with it. I had to download another partitioning utility to nuke that partition. There is also "fdisk /mbr" that will restore the MBR For a Dual Boot, if you use M$ windows :( , you will have to install all of that crap FIRST , then install linux. You can tell the install program to write LILO to the MBR and it will pick up the M$ stuff too. If you don't install win first, you won't be able to boot linux except off of a boot disk. The most important thing is to make sure all of the partitions are GONE before you start. I'm running w95 and RH6.1 and it works fine for dual boot that way. If your BIOS will support it, change it to boot from CD. That makes a RH install quick & easy. I'm still fairly new at RH, but it's WAAAAYYYYY better than the M$ crap! Hope this helps......
