I kinda like Mandrake 6.1. It is based on Redhat but has a few fixes and improvements. Caldera 2.3 and Redhat 6.1 both have nicer-looking installation interfaces though. I tried Caldera 2.3 but when trying to use Netscape, my hard drive would churn and churn for several minutes before Netscape would start....didn't experience this problem with Mandrake or Redhat. Caldera probably sets up a smaller swap partition (since I'm still a newbie, I use the default workstation installations). The Caldera problem occurred on a Pentium 233mmx with 32mb. I've since increased the memory to 64mb so that may help but I haven't tried to re-install Caldera.
