hi all why is it that a stiffy formatted in linux isnt recognised to win95 and needs formatting and visa versa? my problem being that i saved a file, from the web, through win95 onto a disk and went into linux and couldn`t mount the device. is it true that linux can only mounts stiffys formatted in linux? is there any way i can get files off the net from win95 to linux.(would i need to mount the win95 partitions and copy stuff across?) i have redhat 6 installed . thanks william
