Someone please answer a couple of questions i have?

    1) Tell me how to change video modes. I'm stuck in 640x480 at 16 col and
it aint real fun...

    2) I'm running RH6.0 with the Gnome Thingy on Enlightenment...
also how do i make XF86 exit so i go back to a text prompt (Not using a
xterm).

    3) How to turn off the GUI Login so I have to type startx to get into
the GUI part.

I Purchased the APC mags Linux Pocket book, it was good (made me dangerous
but id like to know where to go to learn more..( Not the How-To's ) More
general than that.. like a walkthrough ???
