Thanks for the link Andrew, that helped me a great deal as well.  And
I work *for* the ISP Im trying to connect to! :)  We're just getting
Linux users signing up with us, and Im the unlucky tech support
bastard that has to help them even though we dont officially support
linux yet.  Im just returning to the OS after 5 years (man has it
changed!  And X doesnt crash all the time! wahooo!) and connecting to
an ISP is a lot different than the ole college shell account...
