I have a 8 GB harddrive with windows 98 using about 6.0 GB (hda1 and 2), and Red Hat Linux 6.0 using about 2.0GB, ( hda5 and 6). I would like to increase the size of my Linux partition, but because I have spent several months customizing my operating system, I would like to do this without destroying my exsisting Linux installation. I have 2 GB of unused space on the windows partitions. I can resize one of my windows partitions, and produce un-allocated free space with no problems. The question is, how can I convert, and add this free space to my existing Linux installation?
