I'm a newbie too so I can't help you on the driver situation but
someone else may be able to help you.

As for geting rid of Linux ( do you really want to give up so early),
this is what you can do:

 - Insert the Linux boot disk and boot of it.
 - Run the install untill you get to use fdisk
 - In fdisk, erase all partitions and type 'w' at the end to write the
changes to the disk.  You could also use Disk Druid but fdisk will show
you how simple, fast and efficiant the command line can be... ;)
 - then get a dos boot disk and run 'a:\fdisk /mbr' (that will get rid
of your Master Boot Record).  I don't see why a w9x boot disk can do
this, try it out...

You should now have a clean MBR and no partition on your HD.

I hope you can find an old 486 with an old graphics card to run Linux
on it 'cause you don't know what you're missing.
