Hi, I have a copy of SuSe 6.1 and have installed it and it was workng fine (well almost) until last night when I shutdown kde and when it got back to the comand line, all the text was garbled. I thought (probably wrongly) that I would type shutdown -h now. This did halt the system. Then rebooted and all I now get is this error msg: "Unable to open initial console" Then the system just stops and I can do no more. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
