I am testing Linux for potential use in our company, most likely implementing it as an Oracle database server. I am using MySQL to perform the testing. I have installed the software, now I need to know what to do with it from there. I installed from a source distribution. I start the server by typing "/usr/local/mysql/support-files/mysql.server start". Where do I go from here from an administrators point of view??? any help would be great! thanks
