Um. Bought A 5GB HDD for my Linux Laptop. Installed Win 98 on 1st partition (2.5GB). Tried to install RH5.2 on to the second partition. But when it came to formatting the installation app told me that my / dir (boot dir) was to big, and would not allow it to be greater than about 1MB. This pissed me off, so I tried many other things, unitl I finally realised that I had a Suse5.2 disk. I formatted the partiion wiht that, rebooted and installed RH5.2. No problem untill it came to installing LILO. LILO will not run, due to be having too large a boot partiion. I can boot from floppy (I have not tried LOADLIN)but not from the MBR with LILO. Any ideas?
