How do you install a binary file on Linux using the command line. Binary File Name : g2p2-linux-2_0_30.bin (Real Server G2) I have tried: make make install install unbin exec The file is supposed to be a self extracting executable, but my isn't seeing it as one. Is there something I am missing? I also tried gunzipping it manually, but nope. I am attempting to execute (install) this file as ROOT and have set the correct file permissions (chmod +x). The platform I am using is Linux 2.02.30 running on a RAQ (www.cobaltnet.com) Any help that anyone can share can is most appreciated. -Poochiness "sits in query of her problems..."
