I'm attempting my first install of Linux. I have Red Hat 5.2 I boot from the CD and then hit enter to start the install process. The kernel loads and then Linux goes through loading drivers and stuff. When it gets to the keyboard, I get "keyboard timed out" about three times and then it goes on to the initial screen. Well from there I am dead in the water. The keyboard will not function at all at this point. My only option is a cold reboot. I've tried another keyboard with the system to no avail. Same problem. Anyone have ANY ideas. Linux can't be THAT tough to get up and running. Maybe a BIOS problem???????? I have checked and there really isn't anything as far as keyboard settings go in the BIOS. HELP ME!!!! Guy
