You need to make a system boot disk. I have Windows 95, not 98 but
they're pretty similar, I think. In "My Computer", right click on your
A: drive or whichever is your bootable floppy drive. Choose "Format"
and click on "Copy system files only". This will copy only the files
needed to boot from the floppy disk. Make sure that you also copy
"fips.exe" onto the same floppy disk. Reboot the computer from the
floppy which will leave you at the C: command prompt. From there, just
type "fips" amd the fips program will run. Before you do this,
however, make sure you run Scandisk AND Defrag, first. This will move
all your files to the beginning of the hard drive and enable you to
make a larger partition. Hope this helps.
