Just a reminder after all this political debate has disgusted you,

**************************************************
*** V V OOOOO TTTTTTT EEEEEEE !! ***
*** V V O O T E !! ***
*** V V O O T E !! ***
*** V V O O T EEEEEE !! ***
*** V V O O T E !! ***
*** V V O O T E ***
*** V OOOOO T EEEEEEE !! ***
**************************************************

Three good reasons to do so:

1) Remember, your ballot stub is your ticket to bitch and moan
about how badly the idiots and criminals are running the guvmint.
I remember 1972, when as Nixon twisted slowly in the wind,
bumper stickers appeared all over the nation saying,
"Don't blame me...I voted for McGovern!"
The sales of those bumper stickers, of course, far exceeded the
actual vote for McGovern. But remember, you not only have the
constitutional right to vote...you have the constitutional right
to lie about it afterwards!

2) Even in Utah, North Carolina, Massachussetts, or other benighted
states where the total is a foregone conclusion, you are helping to
confound the pollsters who predicted a near-unanimous landslide for
the eventual winner without ever consulting YOU about it!

3) Even if you do vote for a total loser, there's a consolation
prize. If your turkey gets more than 5% of the vote, that party
gets up to $30 million in matching campaign grants from the
Federal goddamguvmint! And that comes from YOUR taxes...specifically
from that little $1 checkoff on your Form 1040. You're not meant
to know that fact...but Clinton knows it, and Dole knows it, and
believe me, Ross Perot knows it!

So go out there and do your bit for democracy...and while you're about
it, try to "accidentally" stomp on one of the hundreds of picket signs
planted the requisite distance from your polling place, just to make
the world a little less ugly.

                                                  Silas Warner
