  to make lilo work afte 1 installing windows nt then linux

Resaon you install nt firsr is because of the mbr

the all you have to do after nt is installed , is to boot the linus os and
creat you partitions one for data the other foe swap
2. ensure the partation are labled correctly
3 Then after linus boots edit
/etc/lilo.conf

example::::::::

image =/vmlunix
label =linux
root =/dev/hda2
read-only

other =/dev/hda1
label=nt

hope this helps
