while the answers given are correct .the way you wold get the answer for a
classful address is as follows.let me just say it is good to know this as
you need to now what routes you would get from a router running rip v.1 ,if
that is of intrest to you. 
the way this is done is by looking at the first two bits in the of the a
32bit ip address.
if the first two bits are 00 it's a class a, 10 is a class b, 11 class c
