There is evidence that the essential building blocks for life are common
thruout the universe. There is however, no concrete evidence or rationale
for the argument that a being composed of a material undetectable and
undefinable by humans exists. Further, there is no concrete evidence that
this being (or beings) is or has manipulated or influenced humankind in any
way that can't be explained or hypothesized by our current understanding of
the universe.

I don't believe that mankind originated from alien experiments. However, if
evidence were to turn up I would. I don't believe and would require
rigorous proof that one day some omnipotent being got off his etherial ass,
snapped his fingers, and *poof* mankind appeared.

I would probably call it chance with a set of loaded dice. Not a sure thing
that life would develop but a fair probability.

Wrong. There are millions of years worth of evidence in support of
evolutionary theory. On gawds side - nothing.

I agree that blind faith is everywhere. Anyone who believes in a concept
without a foundation of physical evidence to support a logical argument is
flying on blind faith. This includes the devoutly religious, believers in
UFOs, people who believe that the Illuminati control the world, and people
who believe that Hostess Twinkies are good for you because they taste good.

It's possible that negative events in my childhood have led to a bias.
However, I doubt it. I prefer to believe that I have arrived at atheism
thru a rational argument based on my perceptions, knowledge, and beliefs as
to the way the universe works.

Pondered and rejected.
