I tried to dial a call using Palm's Address book and Bluetooth to my Ericsson T39. It works and I can get a call on the phone but couldn't get the call to default to my Bluetooth HC10 handsfree ear piece. It kind of defeats the purpose when you are driving. Is there some special setting for this? Thnxs for any pointers.

But there's only one BT "adapter" on the phone, so you're trying to make it do 2 things at the same time. Is the adapter that "smart"? My understanding is that BT is able to "multi-task" in this respect. It would be a useless standard if it can't eg. Upcoming BT mouse and keyboards for PC... Sorry, you can use either the keyboard or mouse but not both. In the keyboard/mouse/PC case the PC will support multiple Bluetooth connections. The T39 does not and neither do the T68* phones. On PPC2002 platform an application called SimpleCall solved this problem by releasing the Bluetooth link after it had dialled the number on the phone (no use to keep it anyway) thus providing the possibility to connect the call through the headset. Perhaps the same application is available for PalmOS.
