Open Netscape or Mictosoft Internet Browser and cut and paste
ftp://ftp.usr.com/pub/usr/dl07/ into the location bar ( Where the
http://www.etc.. is normally seen)
Download the file MDMUSRVI.INF 44527 05-24-96 which supports the
Sportster Vi and Sportster Voice modems.

Installation (as per US Robotics):
From Device Manager or the Modems Control Panel, REMOVE all previously
installed modems.
From Device Manager, REMOVE all COM ports that were provided by the
modem installation (i.e. if it is an internal modem creating a com
port, remove it).
Copy the MDMUSRVI.INF file to \Windows\INF.
This will need to be done via the command prompt on most systems since
the .INF directory is typically marked 'hidden'.
Delete *.BIN from the \Windows\INF directory.
Shutdown and then restart Win95.If the modem is in "PnP" mode, it
should be auto-detected and installed. If the modem is in legacy
mode, the user will need to use the "Add Hardware" or "Modems"
control panel to install the modem.

Good luck
