Well I got my sound working, but I had to pluck down $52.95 for a SB Live! Value to do it! I'm happy though, at least I can run the old WinAmp once again. My setup, for reference, is now: AMD K7 7000 MHz @770MHz (103/34 + 7) Abit KA7 192 MB PC100 SDRAM Matrox Mil. G200 (AGP Slot) Adaptec 2940UW (PCI 1 Slot) SB Live! Value (PCI 2 Slot) Empty (PCI 3 Slot) D-Link 10/100 NIC (PCI 4 Slot) Empty (PCI 5 Slot) Empty (PCI 6 Slot) USR 33.6 Fax Modem (ISA Slot) -T "sanson" <samseng@singnet.com.sg> wrote in message news:8ehq2c$hiq$1@violet.singnet.com.sg... > hullo...i am having the same problem with creative vibra sound card and have > emailed them (abit) the problem.
