Hello,

Since i am getting the bios boot screen i don,t think the problem is
related, but thank you. Also you bring up a good point. I think i'll try
adding a scsi drive and adapter to boot from. That may help narrow the
issue for Tech Support.

For your  problem I would try in order;

Reseat everything, including memory, cpu, cards, cables(including power),
etc.
Move any adapters to different slot if possible.
Strip down to bare machine(remember to remove drives & also LED cables from
case to motherboard), then add items until symptom returns.
If above doesn't help...
Replace in order
Power supply
Memory and/or CPU
Motherboard
Other Adapters
Drives

I realize not everyone has all this available so my most likely suspects in
order are:
Power Supply (about $30 or less)
Memory (find a friend - a good friend;-)
Motherboard (get replacement under warranty)

Thanks,

Ben Siegrist
