I have no idea what 3D API that FF7 uses, or even if it uses a 3D API
(OpenGL, Direct3D, Glide, etc). But assuming it uses one of them, unless it's
direct3D you won't be using 3D only 2D on the i740. Intel have just released
the beta OpenGL driver so you could try that. If it's glide (3dfx's API) then
there's nothing you can do. Games are currently making a transition from
glide to direct3D and OpenGL.If it's 3D accelerated there's a big difference
in speed and visual quality.
