seems to me like you need to download the amd >350 MHz patch...
AMD k6 processors(or maybe it is the intel processors, and MS coded in to 
acount for the error) have an errata if you want to call it that, which cause 
something to execute too fast, so windows screws up, get the patch then all 
will be well... I would check that first,it is on microsofts site...
