I know this isn't the exact Ng but it beats "visit my site", "Russian
brides" and "get rich quick"

I'm having problems setting the bus speed for my AMD K6-2  500Mhz processor.
I know that there is no such thing as a 500Mhz main board frequency.  What
you do is set a bus speed and a multiplier.  e.g. 100Mhz x 5  = 500Mhz.
Now someone tells me that all K6-2 chips have an additional  x3 multiplier
*hardwired* in.  So to get to 500 requires 66MHz x 2.5 x 3 = 498Mhz

Is this x3 (non changeable) multiplier real or myth?
