Exactly, but some people don't seem to understand this.  As you pointed
out, it depends on how often the user does the PPD (Purge, Pack and Defrag)
routine.  Transaction processing especially, which is more akin to a
db-based olr,  needs to have this done more often than say, an
archiving database application.
