QB only exports lists, not transactions. You can get an audit trail report, Customize it for all transaction types and fields you want and "print it" in Excel format. However, you still need to make manual entries, so you may as well simply print invoices or sales entries on paper. I did not tell you everything because it was impractical for a one-time transfer. http://datablox.com/ has a very good QB to Access transfer utility. Access can produce transaction data in QuickBooks IIF import/export format. However, you have sales transactions and I believe there is no IIF import transaction type for sales. mike block >I mean, my only other choice, and on which I have already begun, is to >export to excel specific reports on each set of data types (i.e. >invoices, checks, payment, etc.), then re-enter these sets of data. > >>Very few programs have something like ARC and this >> part of QB is very limited. > >I am unfamiliar with ARC Sorry, Accountants Review Copy. > >Thanks again for your assistance. > >JP Harroun >The Grateful Bread Company >Maui, Hawaii > > >Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ >Before you buy. > > Mike Block, Tax Fighting C.P.A.
