We do have a magical new industry. It's called retail.

About 30-40 years ago, the number 1 employer was GM, which offered good
jobs with which the breadwinners could support his family, including
buying a home and educating his kids.

Now the number one employer is Walmart. Can you buy a home on a Walmart
pay?

According to the jobs report today, 112,000 new jobs were created in
January. Out of those, 76,000 were retail jobs. Meanwhile,
manufacturing lost 24,000 jobs for the month.
