I am using AT&T and am on a plan where all my LD calls are 10 cents a
minute, anytime.  There is a minimum per month..$15 as I recall, but
no LD fees.  This is a much better deal than anyone else offers, as
most of my LD is within the state where they really screw you.  Even
worse, a fair amount of my LD is considered "local LD", like Granbury
or Sherman, where SW Bell would normally bill me 40 + cents per
minute.  On AT&T, it is all a flat 10 cents.  I have been very happy:)

One last benefit...from time to time they mistakenly send me a check
for anywhere from $50 to $100 if I will "change to AT&T":)
Needless to say, I am always happy to cash their checks:)
