Again, what I have are FAX modems and supporting software.  When listening
in on the "conversation" I do here the FAX modems generate the beep ...
beep ... beep ... sound but the other end in 2 cases I have now for thos
switching boxes never seem to figure out to switch the call to the FAX
machine.  

Again, the question is should/could I do something different to make the
transmission in this case work?

Second, or is this a problem with those switching boxes out there.
