One of the best books I've read for lay hypnotists is called _The New Master Course in Hypnotism_ by Harry Arons. (Borden Publishing) It is a bit antiquated but I think it is very good. It warns of the dangers and responsibilities of which an apprentice must be aware. It won't encourage you to perform stupid strength feats with your subjects either; experiments that pop up in some of the trashy "how to" books. What you really need is a good somnambule and a lot of patience. Does anyone have any interesting methods of quick induction (other than post hypnotic suggestions) that they have had success with? William.
