hi. first LINUX RULEZ!!!!

ok, i'm planning on using windows & linux on the same PC (I need windows for
school work, and other family members). I have an installation guide and
basically When i try to create a linux native partition using Disk Druid, it
says 'boot partition too big' and can't create even though i have used FIPS
(First Interactive non-destructive Partitioning Software) and checked that i
am creating my linux partition well before the 1024th cylinder (even before
the 1000th cylinder), it still reports the same problem. it is red hat 6.0 i
am installing and the cd is not faulty because it has been installed fine on
another PC and on this one before (but a problem arose - first with linux
[no GUI], then with windows - so i reformatted and am trying to install
linux now).

PLEASE HELP!!! I am young and I'm sure you would all like to 'convert' me to
a LINUXian.
