I have a similar configuration. In my case a DLINK hub with an uplink port. A straight-thru cable works fine between the hub and the cable modem. Electrically it appears to be the same as what you are seeking to do. The difference is that I have configured both my systems with Static IP addresses. /Madan Valluri 1woods@excess.home.com wrote: > Drew Robinson wrote: > > >Reconfigure modem?..LOL > >just unplug it then plug it back in again > > > >hac wrote: > > > >> Steven D.
