Er, my apologies then. I'm perhaps used to arguing in more robust (read:
less polite) fora.

Could be that your Usenet munging beats the news-grabbers; if your address
appears on a Web page, that'll be it. Most "direct" (non-Bcc:) spam uses
addresses trawled from Web pages.
