Only delete it? Once you get 10 times the spamm messages than individual
messages one spends about the same time deleting spamm as reading
messages. Then all those advantages of e-mail begin to vanish and I'll

I am glad you are here of the same opinion I am. And exactly that's the
reason why unwanted adverticements send by postal sercvices is OK, but
send by e-mail isn't.

Sure,
one's personal freedom of whatever is always resticed where it conflicts
with the freedom of somebody else. Massively spamming my e-mail account
would prevent to use my email account and therefore my freedom of
speech. So companies should keep track of people that want commercial
email by them and should not send messages to people that didn't aks the
company to do so.
