Hi All;

I have installed a copy of MacComCenter onto a Mac SE 30 (v1.2.?) and
a Powerbook 1400cs (v1.3.8). Both have the default settings.

I managed to be able to send quick faxes to a 486 from the Mac SE 30.

A friend tried to fax to the Mac SE 30, it seemed to have been
received but it could not be found.

I tried to fax to the Mac SE 30 from the Powerbook same problem, could
not find the faxed file.

I tried to fax from the Mac SE 30 to the Powerbook, but the Powerbook
showned to answer the call, but then frozze with only the cursor able
to move.

Can any one help me out with these problems. thanks.

If possible you should upgrade to v3.0. The faxed file should be found in
the 'In box' in the MessageCenter.

You didn't state what system software or Ram you have in either computer.
It's hard to tell what's going on in either computer without that
information. It could be that you are running low on memory, that the
modem doesn't like the software or that you have a extension conflict.

Hi matcon;

The Powerbook 1400 is running system 7.5.3 on 16MB @ 117Mz.

The Mac SE30 is running a minium system 6 on 8MB. As I have said the
Mac SE30 was able to fax to may 486, but it did not show anything in
the send log.

Anyway I hoipe this helps, as I need to get at least the Mac SE30 able
to receive faxes.

Hi Mac;

Yes, after much hair pulling I did find some there on the Mac SE30,
but some of the faxes were not complete.
