My PowerMac, when I buy it will be from MacWarehouse.
Bad MacMall experience last year with purchase of a Quadra 630. They
bundled an OEM CD player that was too slow to properly play most
multimedia CD's. Sent me a driver that would not work on the IDE hard
drive in the Q630. I asked if they could give any credit on the bogus
player to get one that would work better. They never replied --- not even
to say no. They ignored the query.
I am thoroughly disgusted with MacMall's catalogue that continually
deducts monitor and printer rebates from CPU prices. This most recent
issue now includes long essays on the practice.
